At Axolotl Art, our story began with a shared purpose: to promote art, culture, and education while fostering strategic projects that protect the environment. Inspired by the Ambystoma mexicanum—a global symbol of biological regeneration and ancestral heritage—our association was born from an altruistic commitment to dignify the arts and uphold environmental justice. From the very beginning, we have built strategic alliances to protect and restore Xochimilco’s wetland ecosystem through community-led art initiatives, educational programs, and sustainable habitat preservation that empower local communities to thrive.
